Compare and Contrast
1. My First Image is the blue colored pencils. In the original Image, they have much more of a variety of colors and sizes of colored pencils. They also have a light pink background and I tried to recreate this but was not able to get the same color. I think they are similar because thy show a lot of different shades of blue colored pencils.
2. My second Image is Pink Pencils. Both the original and mine are very similar. The background color is also a little bit different because I could not find the same shade of blue. Additionally, the sizes of their pencils are much different and they have more of an ombre for the colors. I did not have enough of the colored pencils and not very many good colors so I could not make the same ombre effect.
3. My final image is a flower envelope. Int he original picture, it is a brown envelope with purple and pink flowers. I only had green leaves and a white envelope. These two are similar because they both have flowers pouring out of them but they are also different because I didn't have some of the same supplies and access to flowers that the photographer has.

Personal Artist Statement
My first image is of blue colored pencils and both mine and the original are very similar This image is portraying the different shades of blue. The second image has a similar meaning and it is also portraying the different shades of purple and pink. My final image is of flowers coming out of an envelope and I think this is talking a little bit about love letters.. My remake still shows the similar meaning just with leaves.
